Ewan Wallace
Chair, SCOTSEwan Wallace is a Chief Officer at Aberdeenshire Council. He is the Chair of SCOTS, a member of the UK Network Management Board, past President of the Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers and a member of ICE and CIHT. In his career within Government since 1990 he has been fortunate enough to play a part in numerous projects and initiatives from works on the River Spey, making the economic case for AWPR, securing a City Region Deal for Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, leading on collaborative working across Northern Roads Authorities and delivering a new station in Kintore.
In 2022 he took on the role of Head of Environment and Sustainability at the Council . In this new service he leads for the Council on Waste Management, Landscape Services, Transportation, Passenger Transport, Environmental Planning and Climate Change/Sustainability. He is a proud North East Loon who is blessed with a lovely wife and two young daughters who have to treat every holiday like a site visit.
