Team Leader (Street Works Asset Management), South Lanarkshire Council

David Carter is the Team Leader for Street Works and Asset Management in South Lanarkshire Council. David is also roads co-vice chair of Roads Authorities and Utilities Committee (RAUC) Scotland and has active roles in Scottish Collaboration of Transportation Specialists (SCOTS) groups. As part of his duties, he undertakes the Winter Duty Manager role, the key decision maker for delivering the winter service throughout a very diverse geographical area.
