Work Winning Director, Kier

Helen is a precontract and bidding professional who has operated within the transportation infrastructure sector for over 20 years. She is experienced in public sector procurement.

In her current role at Kier she is responsible for communications, business development and all precontract activity for the transportation business. This covers the road, rail, aviation and ports sector, working with local authorities, strategic transport bodies such as Transport for London, Network Rail and National Highways.

Helen re-joined Kier Highways in May 2022, following two years as Head of Preconstruction for VolkerHighways. Here she led on business development and preconstruction activity covering highway term maintenance, street lighting, surfacing, traffic management and smart city infrastructure including electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Prior to VolkerHighways, she held various bid and work winning roles within Kier, focused on highways and public sector procurement.

A proficient communicator, Helen’s expertise lies in bringing together multi-skilled teams to create an energised and collaborative environment.
