Neil Ferguson
Senior Lecturer in Transport, University of StrathclydeDr Neil Ferguson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Strathclyde.
His research focusses on the development of low carbon, socially-just, environmentally friendly and climate resilient transport systems. He has led or contributed to numerous research and consultancy projects and has published in leading journals.
His work has been funded by the EPSRC, MRC, NERC, the Scottish Government, Scottish Road Research Board, ClimateXChange, Scotland Beyond Net Zero and industry. He is a contributing author for the risk descriptor on roads within the Infrastructure Chapter of the 4th UK Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA4).
He is also a founding member of the University’s Active Mobility Hub.
