Associate Director at WSP, Scotland Lead at Women in Transport

Maïlys has been driving people-centred regeneration and sustainable travel for the past 15 years. As an Associate Director at WSP, Maïlys is the North lead for Gender Inclusive Design and leads transport planning projects across Scotland.

Her recent work champions inclusive travel and women’s safety through accessible design guidance, pan-impairment stakeholder engagement, and strategic design recommendations for infrastructure and development planning schemes. Founder of Women in Transport Scotland hub in 2021, Maïlys has also delivered 20+ high-impact events and shaped national policy to improve gender balance in the industry.
