BICS Bridge Inspections

General and Principal Inspections of highway bridges, culverts and retaining walls to BICS, delivered by registered bridge inspectors with the same tactile discipline our STE04 examiners bring to the rail network. Clear condition reporting, defect photography and prioritised recommendations you can act on.

UAV Bridge Inspection and Survey

CAA authorised pilots capture high resolution imagery, photogrammetry and LiDAR of bridges, viaducts and earthworks with minimal traffic management and no need for possessions. The data is interpreted by the same engineers who carry out our tactile inspections, so you receive an inspection, not just a set of photographs.

Flyability Elios 3 Confined Space Drone

Collision tolerant caged drone for steel box girders, hollow piers, voids, culverts and tunnels. The Elios 3 reaches spaces that would otherwise need confined space entry or scaffold, capturing close visual inspection footage and LiDAR quickly while reducing exposure for the inspection team.

Rope Access and Working at Height

IRATA trained rope access teams put a competent examiner on soffits, piers, arches, parapets and facades where MEWPs or scaffold cannot reach or cannot be justified. We also deliver MEWP, scaffold and harness access, planned and supervised in house.

Confined Space Entry: Medium and High Risk

Teams trained, equipped and rescue planned for medium and high risk confined space entries, with gas monitoring, breathing apparatus and a dedicated standby rescue capability. Suited to box girders, culverts, chambers and voided structures.

Underwater and Scour Inspection

HSE qualified commercial diver examiners working surface fed under the Approved Code of Practice, combined with STE07 competence, deliver underwater and scour examinations of bridge piers, abutments and foundations. Every dive produces an engineering inspection, not just footage.

Geomatic, LiDAR and Topographical Survey

Ground based and aerial survey integrated under one team: topographical surveys, laser scanning, photogrammetry and orthomosaics captured to the accuracy your design or assessment actually needs.

Culvert Flow Monitoring

Continuous, telemetered flow and water level monitoring for culverts at risk of flooding, scour or blockage, giving asset managers real time visibility of the hydraulics when it matters most.

ROV, CCTV and Bathymetric Survey

Remotely operated vehicles, crawler CCTV and bathymetric survey for culverts, drainage runs and submerged structures, reaching flooded or restricted assets without putting people at risk.
