Products

Rope Access
Rope Access
Safe, fast access to hard-to-reach areas of your structure without scaffolding. Our IRATA-certified technicians work at height with minimal disruption to traffic, waterways and the environment.
Bridge Inspection
Bridge Inspection
Close-up, hands-on inspections that give you a true picture of structural condition. We identify defects early, record them clearly and help you plan maintenance before small issues become costly repairs.
Suspended Access Systems
Suspended Access Systems
Where a larger working platform is needed, we install suspended access solutions that give teams stable, efficient access to bridge soffits, piers and underdecks.
Non-Destructive Testing
Non-Destructive Testing
Detailed assessment of steel, concrete and welds without damaging the structure. Our NDT specialists reveal hidden defects and provide the data you need to make confident asset decisions.
Welding & Fabrication
Welding & Fabrication
Repairs, strengthening and bespoke fabrication carried out in situ. From small steelwork repairs to complex structural upgrades, we deliver quality workmanship at height and in challenging locations.
Complex Rigging & Lifting
Complex Rigging & Lifting
Engineered rigging and lifting solutions for awkward, restricted or high-consequence sites. We plan every lift carefully so heavy components are moved safely, even where cranes can’t reach.
Mechanical Maintenance & Overhauls
Mechanical Maintenance & Overhauls
Keeping moving bridge components working as they should. We maintain and overhaul bearings, joints, drive systems and mechanisms for bascule, lifting and swing bridges, extending service life and reducing the risk of unplanned downtime.
Confined Space Entry & Rescue
Confined Space Entry & Rescue
Safe entry into box girders, cells and enclosed voids for inspection and maintenance. Our trained teams carry out the work with rescue cover in place, so you’re covered from start to finish.
Protective Coatings & Corrosion Control

Menai Bridge Rope Access
Infinite Access was approached to deliver a range of rope access works across multiple phases of a project to enable refurbishment of Menai Bridge. The world’s first suspension bridge presented a unique and complex working environment. The age and heritage of the structure, combined with its live use and exposed location, meant that rope access was the most practical and appropriate solution for delivering works safely across all phases. The project was successfully completed in Spring 2026, resulting in: Successful installation of temporary hangers during emergency closure, averting risk of catastrophic deck failure Full replacement of all 242 hangers on the bridge Balustrade repairs completed across both spans with new galvanised fixings installed Emergency works carried out to strengthen bridge allowing traffic to flow First-ever AeroTruss platform installation on the Menai Suspension Bridge All works delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards despite challenging weather conditions It also delivered some stunning views - the perfect excuse for some drone shots! Why Rope Access?
We sat down with Phil Morley, Managing Director at Infinite Access to find out why rope access is usually a safer, more efficient and more cost-effective solution to work at height projects and why more and more clients are choosing it over traditional methods, such as scaffolding. In this video, we cover: • Common rope access assumptions • How rope access compares to traditional access methods • Real life examples where switching to rope access made a significant difference
What makes a good rope access partner?
We sat down with Phil Morley, Managing Director at Infinite Access, to find out what actually separates a good rope access partner from an average one, and why qualifications, accreditation and site integration matter more than clients often realise. In this video, we cover: Phil's journey into rope access What to look for in qualifications and accreditations Why site integration with other contractors matters Phil's new role as Vice Chair of the IRATA UK and Ireland Regional Advisory Committee The biggest mistakes clients make when choosing an access contractor The questions you should be asking before you choose one
