Development Management and Trunk Road Casualty Reduction Manager Transport ScotlandFollowing a 25 year career working in geotechnical engineering initially for a local authority and latterly with an engineering consultancy both in the UK and Hong Kong, Morag joined Transport Scotland in 2013. Initially working on incident management and landslide mitigation, Morag then became Network Manager for the two north Operating Units overseeing the performance and delivery of the Trunk Road Term Maintenance Contracts. In 2016 Morag became head of Transport Scotland’s Development Management and Trunk Road Casualty Reduction Teams responsible for delivering Transport Scotland’s role as a Statutory Consultee in the planning process and managing accident investigation and prevention on the trunk road network, delivering a programme of road safety interventions to support the Scottish Governments ambitious casualty reduction targets.
