Stephen Davies

Stephen is a Chartered Engineer with over 19 years of experience in the transport sector. He has held leadership roles across transport planning, network management, road safety and operations / ITS. Stephen is National Operations Manager - ITS at Transport Scotland, responsible for the Traffic Scotland Service including the management of a nationwide estate of ITS and the delivery of Scotland’s national traffic and travel information service.

He also leads the delivery of Transport Scotland’s Connected and Autonomous Vehicles Roadmap, which includes the delivery of the world-leading Project CAVForth. Stephen focuses on taking advantage of emerging technology solutions to evolve ITS services and deliver improved outcomes to the travelling public.
