StarGo from StarTraq is a complete cloud-based end-to-end software application for managing highways licences and permits including skips, crossovers, TTROs, scaffolding, highways searches and Section 50s. The system interfaces with Street Manager via API. The StarGo solution consists of a smartphone-compatible portal where applicants can apply for and renew licences, a comprehensive back-office to manage the application process and a smartphone enforcement app for Highways Inspectors to check the validity of licences and permits whilst in the field. Applicants receive automated emails and reminders to help improve compliance. Applicants can pay for their licences online at time of application or following approval, negating the need to send invoices or wait for cheque payments to be cleared before approving and issuing a licence.
