REBLOC Permanent & Temporary Precast Barrier
Barriers with a minimum design life of 50 years are mandated for permanent use in England on central reserves of roads with high traffic volumes.
The REBLOC concrete vehicle restraint systems (VRS) are precast products that allow for rapid deployment across the strategic road network.
The off-site manufacture also eliminates wet trades on site, reduces the risk to the workforce with shortened installation times and is immediately operational with no curing time required.
Ranging from normal containment (N2) to very high containment (H4a), our full suite of both permanent and temporary concrete VRS are tested to EN 1317 and are CE marked.

HiMast Passive Sign Support
Tested to BS-EN 12767 and approved to BS-EN 12899 providing a safer alternative to traditional posts and columns.
Designed to breakaway following a vehicle impact minimising harm to vehicle occupants.
HiMast doesn't require protection of any safety barrier offering a significant cost saving.

MASS Barrier
The MASS Barrier is a steel base unit providing the foundations for five top sections designed to suit different site specifications.
MASS can be used in a range of sectors including aviation, nuclear, and construction, and has been used effectively in urban areas to segregate pedestrians and protect against traffic.
With a brilliant record in city centre vehicle/ pedestrian segregation and protection scenarios.

Concrete Barrier - MULTIBLOC TVCB & Maxibloc
Hardstaff Barriers are the leading supplier of precast concrete barriers and supply a large range of concrete barriers for all types of projects.
Our concrete barrier solutions have been used for many large schemes and high-profile events both in the UK and around Europe. Multibloc™ TVCB, Maxibloc™, REBLOC™ barriers, have Terminals, transitions, pedestrian & vehicle access points and accessories such as fencing, hoarding and gates available, providing a full security & vehicle restraint system that can be tailored to your requirements.
Typical applications include Highway/Road schemes, Hostile Vehicle Mitigation, Perimeter security, Construction, delineation as well as being widely used in sectors such as Event management, Nuclear & Low Carbon sites, Ports, Airports, and heavy industry.

Access control
For access control and perimeter boundary security and privacy gates and hoarding is available. Gates range from simple gallows gate to restrict vehicle access to hostile vehicle mitigation solutions that mitigate vehicle borne attack but allow authorised access. Hoarding includes a selection of panels constructed from traditional marine plywood or steel GRP with the option of branding that works alongside the Multibloc product to provide site privacy
From simple lockable multipurpose swing gates to gates designed for hostile vehicle mitigation, Hardstaff Barriers have a range of different sized gate options to match a range of applications.

Crash Cushions
Hardstaff Barriers provide a range of tested crash barriers designed to protect motorists from roadside hazards.
These products include the Vecu-Stop crash cushions that protect both road workers and road users. The cushion is tested to EN1317-3:2010 and can be deployed on roads with speeds upto 70 mph. The Vecu-Stop can be installed for the protection of temporary barrier terminals or it can be installed permanently for the protection of fixed hazards.
Vecu-Stop consists of hollow cylinders configured in rows. These are highly efficient attenuators which are guided by a steel wire rope system. Once installed, the system elements do not require any maintenance.
Our other range includes the QuadGuard and Quest CEN system

Bridge Parapets
A bridge parapet is a safety barrier that is installed on the edge of a bridge, retaining wall or similar structure with a vertical drop, providing protection for vehicles and pedestrians.
Parapets play an essential role in keeping people safe and have helped to prevent many serious incidents over the years.
Supplied worldwide, Varley and Gulliver’s bridge parapets are used in a variety of locations including roads, railways, ports, industrial settings, car parks and airports.
With containment levels N1, N2, H2 and H4a to EN 1317 and containment Levels TL3 and TL4 to the American standards, our parapets meet a range of requirements.
Our systems can also be clad with mesh or sheeted with a range of materials to prevent pedestrian access and for aesthetic reasons.
All our bridge parapets are compliant with the ‘Design Manual for Roads and Bridges – CD 377 Requirements for road restraint systems.’

Brifen Wire Rope
Used globally, the Brifen VRS is tested to international standards and is designed to capture, contain and redirect a vehicle upon impact. With both N2, H1 and H2 systems available, the Brifen range is inclusive of tested and approved transitions and end terminals to complete the wire rope arrangement.
Brifen VRS is a suitable alternative when wider working widths can be achieved due to its flexibility. It is tested and approved to EN1317, NCHRP 350 and MASH.

Flexbeam Steel VRS
One of the first companies in the UK to develop a range of independently tested highway safety barriers for the strategic road network. Our range is inclusive of Flexbeam, Hi-Flex (high containment systems) and all the Non-Proprietary Safety Barrier Systems. We also have a complete suite of tested and approved transitions and end terminals.
With a range of N2 single sided and double sided solutions, for verge and central reservations, the Flexbeam suite of systems can be installed using a variety of post foundation types to accommodate the surrounding environment.

Zoneguard
Zoneguard is the lowest deflecting portable steel highway barrier in the world. Energy absorbing permanent and temporary steel barrier, Zoneguard barrier stabilizes as vehicles drive onto the Zoneguard foot limiting barrier deflection.
Successfully tested to BS EN 1317-2 H1 W3, N2 W2, N2 W5, N2 W6 standards, accepted by National Highways, tested to USA standard MASH and other international standards.
Easily transported, Zoneguard weighs 93.5 kg per metre enabling up to 204 m to be efficiently transported on one vehicle for both scheduled and emergency works.
Rapidly installed, Zoneguard can be easily positioned and connects using Zoneguard Speed Joints. Using the Asset Drilling Rig (ADR) gives Zero Hand Arm Vibration and allows up to 2,800 m to be drilled and fixed to a N2 W2 specification in an 8-hour shift.
Integral drainage channels are incorporated into the foot section for ease of handling and manoeuvrability with a fork lift.
