Transport Network builds team for growing business

Transport Network is boosting its team to handle its increasing demands following a surge of successful events and bids for future business. Adrian Tatum has been promoted to head of events for Transport Network, to lead on the strategy, development, sales, content and leadership of all three Traffex branded events: Traffex Seeing is Believing, Traffex 2019, and Traffex Road Expo Scotland.

Paul Hutton takes on the role of head of content for Transport Network with immediate effect, and a junior reporter will be recruited to assist him as he will continue with his role as editor of the quarterly magazine SMART Highways and weekly newsletter 7 Days in ITS.

Neil Levett, sector lead of Transport Network, said: ‘Adrian and Paul have proved themselves to have great insights into the highways sector and its needs, and to bring these to life through our publications and events.

‘This year’s Traffex Seeing is Believing was different from – and better than – any of our previous outdoor events as the numbers of exhibitors and visitors showed.

'The Transport Network team is now busy with the annual industry-leading Highways Awards night; CAV Scotland on behalf of Transport Scotland; ITS Summit in Bristol; and of course our biggest event of the year, Traffex 2019, which is already shaping up with industry-leading speakers and to include a new and exciting range of activities.

This year's Traffex Road Expo Scotland will be taking place on Wednesday 31 October and Thursday 1 November and will be co-located with Bridges Scotland at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.
