KDS is our team of engineering design experts that focus on the highways maintenance and major project sector.
They work with clients to ensure that roads and infrastructure are designed to the highest possible standard, and are safe for road users.
The team's specialisms include: highways design, structures design and assessment, geotechnical engineering, road lighting and signals, environmental and ecology, highways technology, asset management and working as a principal designer.

Kier Highways Solutions (KHS)
KHS provides surface treatment solutions to the highways sector and roofing solutions to the construction sector.
It supplies and installs carriageway surface dressing and footway micro asphalt and has traffic management delivery capability as well as a team of CAD designers for traffic management solutions.
It also manufactures and sells bespoke bituminous and roofing products.

QuikSTATS
QuikSTATS is a one stop shop service; providing a streamlined, cost-effective, rapid, self-serve way of carrying out C2 utility searches.
The purpose of QuikSTATS is to streamline and speed up the data-sharing process, reduce the risk of utility asset strikes and free up the time of the people managing, maintaining and improving the local and national infrastructure.
The service is delivered through a web-based self-serve application that can be accessed via any web enabled device, in the office or live in the field.

Clearbox
Clearbox provides a range of BIM (Building Information Modelling) tools. These tools bring together and store project information about the built environment.
The system collects information from a range of sources and shares it with the project team through an online service. Everything is available in an easy and simple format. This is then delivered at the right time and during the right project phase.
The team’s experience helps them to understand the challenges and pressures with project delivery, all the way through to final handover. As such, the toolsets and knowledge provided can be valuable support to clients.

Nordis Signs has more than 50 years’ experience and expertise in designing, producing and supplying a wide range of signage products.
Based in Northamptonshire, it provides meaningful employment and skills support for people with disabilities and those with health conditions.
